Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. About us

Scout is operated by LS Equipe Ltd, registered in England and Wales. These terms govern your use of the Scout website and the SCOUT platform.

By using our website or services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. The SCOUT service

SCOUT is an AI-powered back-office automation platform for UK recruitment agencies. We provide the platform on a subscription basis, configured to your agency during onboarding.

The specific scope of services, pricing, and terms of your deployment are set out in your service agreement. These general terms apply alongside that agreement.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for ensuring your use of SCOUT complies with applicable laws, including UK GDPR and employment law
  • You remain the data controller for all candidate and client data processed through SCOUT
  • You must not use SCOUT for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm third parties
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All hiring decisions remain with your agency. SCOUT handles admin, not decisions.

4. Intellectual property

All content, software, and materials on the Scout website and within the SCOUT platform are owned by LS Equipe Ltd or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of our platform without written permission.

Content generated by SCOUT on your behalf (job descriptions, emails, reports) belongs to you.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LS Equipe Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of SCOUT.

Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid by you to us in that period.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your SCOUT subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active clients of material changes by email with at least 30 days notice. Continued use of the service after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
